H2, diatomic hydrogen rich water modifies Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases

Current studies suggest that hydrogen (H2) water offers neuronal protection against the degradation of dopamine receptors associated with both Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. H2 was also shown to be helpful in preventing DNA damage and lipid peroxidation. Lipid peroxidation is what occurs when free oxygen radicals steal electrons from fats in cell membranes leaving them damaged to the point of impenetrable to functioning enzymes.

Senile plaque—AKA, Alzheimer’s—is induced in part by oxidative damage. H2 hydrogen water has been shown to mitigate plaques thereby improving memory and spatial comprehension. This clearly has an improvement of not just intellectual lucidity but its ability to improve feel-good receptor sites including dopamine, serotonin and gaba.

 Clearly, H2 rich water with its ability to instantly penetrate cell and mitochondrial walls in search of toxic free radicals should render it a component of any Parkinson’s/Alzheimer’s protocol.
